Race for the Cure September 27, 2010

Filed under: Uncategorized — Devon Alter @ 12:13 pm

The Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure in Chicago took place on Saturday, September 25. As I went to brunch with my cousin, daughter of a breast cancer survivor, we saw the restaurant crowded with runners, survivors, friends and family. We felt guilty having not participated, but there is a way you can help year-round!

Breast Cancer Awareness Month is celebrated every October, and will be here in a matter of days. To donate a mammogram without donating more than a click of your mouse, just go to The Breast Cancer Site. Click on the large, pink link that says, “Click Here to Give – it’s Free!” and you are done. You have donated a mammogram to someone who needs it. The best part? You can go give it a click EVERY DAY!!!

*A portion above has been clipped and edited from my previous post Donate a Mammogram! Click to donate to breast cancer, hunger, child health, literacy, the rainforest and animal rescue.
